It appears to be "cross the Channel in unlikely aircraft" week; airships have enough difficulties in this timeline without cross-breeding them with bicycles.

A little piece of my heart is warmed when I see airships, though -- my father taught lighter-than-air at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, and I was (::blush::) apparently conceived on a dirigible. :)

(yeah, yeah, I know... that explains a lot about me...)
