Some things are stressful even if they go smoothly. Having cavities filled is one of them. So is corresponding with a lawyer about a will. That one is not being helped by an interchange in which I noted that I hadn't gotten an answer to my last message, and wanted (a) to go ahead without dealing with drafting a living will now, and (b) specific changes made, and he replied within the hour by asking if I'd gotten the draft will he had attached to his previous message.
I said I had, and restated what I want (based in part on his email to me, I clarified that if the people I'm writing this will to take care of all predecease me, whatever money etc. should go to my mother and brother, and that if I reach the point of worrying about people/events after that, it will probably be time to draft a new will.
I didn't get quite enough sleep last night, and don't know whether I can blame the dentistry; given that a chunk of the problem was waking up 45 minutes before my alarm, perhaps not.
There's also been another round of harmless correspondence with the health insurance company. In this case I called and they assured me that I don't need to do anything, they have written to the anesthesiologist to explain that they need more documentation before paying him, and I do not need to contact him.
Fortunately, my plans for the weekend could be called minimal, if that didn't imply more organization than currently exists.
