In this weird and wonderful world, I have just learned that the archives of the Flat Earth Society are currently being held by the Science Fiction Foundation, an organization whose current chair, major_clanger, is a qualified rocket scientist.

*Not that Haldane's law. This is an epigram: "The universe is not only queerer than we imagine, it is queerer than we canimagine." Sometimes rendered as "weirder," especially by Americans.

I'd forgotten they held the archives of the Flat Earth Society. Years back, I actually met a member of the society. He was extremely eccentric, and I didn't even know at that point that he was a member.
