I have been to the gym for the second time since my surgery, and this time did just about everything from my basic routine, though some with lower weights or fewer reps.
Cardio, 14 minutes plus one minute cooldown, top heart rate 132
Leg press, 200 pounds, 3 sets of 15. That went smoothly enough that I think I can go back to the pre-surgery normal weight of 220 next time.
Chest press, 55 pounds, 12, 10
Calf raise, 80 pounds, 2 sets of 15; 70 pounds, 15
Balance ~fly, 55 pounds, 2 sets of 15
Cross-body stretch for rotator cuff, 25 pounds, 15 with the right arm
Triceps pulldown, 35 pounds, 15 (I hadn't done this for a while before the surgery)
Wrist curl, 25-pound bar, 2 sets of 15
Crunches, 3 sets of 30
Back arches, 3 sets of 17
Tree, 5 sets of {3 on each leg}
Balance lateral raise, 5 pounds each hand, 15; 2.5 pounds each, 15
Balance squats, 10 (I'm easing back into squats slowly; I did eight at Adrian's last Sunday, after the concept was mentioned in conversation. Eight was better than none; 15 might have been worse than none, and probably would have been worse than 8.)
Biceps curls, 10 pounds each hand, 20, 10
