That's because the purple-hair photo is a few years old. I haven't been coloring my hair now that I'm growing it out. All the pictures of me I have as userpics are a few years old, in fact; I should see about getting a decent current photo, with the longer hair. The one attached to this comment is six years old (!), taken in Hay-on-Wye the weekend of papersky's wedding there.
