I got to Montreal yesterday early afternoon, after only slight flight delays caused by LaGuardia air traffic control. (The Air Canada web page warns about these if you ask it about any flights to or from LGA, regardless of time of day or day of the week--that airport is overscheduled again.)

Good food, good conversation, and we have absolutely no plans for today. (Things we want to do sometime in the next couple of days, yes, but no specific plans.) I've been down to the patisserie, and had the beginnings of a nice breakfast involving a hunk of baguette; once this is posted, I'm going to make more tea and have a chocolate croissant, and decide which of my hosts' books to read now that I've finished the novel I brought with me.

It's pleasantly warm and sunny; [livejournal.com profile] rysmiel has been talking about wanting it to get seriously hot, but if it stays in the mid-20s instead I'll be delighted, especially as we're intending to wander around the Jardin Botanique at some point.

Again? LGA's been operating above capacity for years :/

I'm so glad you're having a good time. *hug*
