I have seen, and been seen by, my GP.

She says the mole should come off, because it's at least two colors and looks a bit cracked; she asked if I remembered scratching it, and I said no, I don't. She'll , refer me to a dermatologist. I'm fairly sure the one I used to see doesn't take my insurance. Can anyone recommend a dermatologist in Manhattan who accepts HIP? (I can always go with one of the doctors she usually refers to, but they're up in the Bronx, near my GP.)

She also gave me a flu shot; late, but since I've not caught the flu this season, not too late.

I had my annual physical last week, and, pending further notice (results from bloodwork, etc.) am healthy. I forgot to get my flu jab, which was silly of me, but I'd already reported to three different stations (doc's office for the checkup, X-ray and ultrasound lab for the ECG, and lab jab station for the blood tests), and the flu jab station was back upstairs, where I'd just come from, so I forgot to head back there.

I'll have to drop in next week sometime.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a dermatologist.
