You're not thinking this through. If you found something you wanted to buy, it would have been an actual choice: buy or make a statement. If you didn't find something you wanted to buy, it's much easier: select a large number of expensive items, walk to the register, notice what's on the radio, say something about not forcing people to listen to hate speech, and walk out with their register counter piled high with un-purchased merchandise.
