Cats and clementines

When julian_tiger posted about the season's first clementines, he didn't mention that he had then pulled the napkin I'd used while peeling them out of the trash and sniffed it thoroughly, nor that he'd followed that up by snagging a piece of clementine peel.

He seems to have lost interest in them, or used up such orange virtue as they have.

My cat, otoh, thinks that citrus is the Antichrist. She'll come over to see what I am eating, then make a face that clearly communicates, "ugh! you put that in your mouth?" We call it "fruit face."

I thought that the vast majority of felines feel that way about citrus, too. Wow.
