Today's mail included something with "USA" attached to the label on a yellow sticky note, and a return address in Malmo, Sweden.

I was puzzled. I don't know anyone in Malmo. (I'm not even sure I know anyone in Sweden.)

fivemack has bought me a goat, a most delightful multi-coloured goat [u supplied at no extra charge by the vendor]. Even better, he's had it sent to a family that can take proper care of it, which I can't in a city apartment.

Is this goat a present for some special occasion, or a just-because sort of a goat? Do you get yogurt or mohair out of the arrangement, or do those go the people who are taking care of the goat?

It's a just-because sort of goat: Tom said something about goats last Christmas, I expressed interest, adn so he got me a goat.

Well, got a goat in my name for some people who actually need it, via Oxfam. I don't get the yogurt.
