All the lights are flickering.
All the lights in the neighborhood, that is. Not just my apartment.
If this continues, it may be motivation to go to bed early.

cattitude's first thought, sensibly enough, was "transformer," but the flickering continues.
Update2: Emergency crews have been spotted nearby.
In other news, the copyediting assignment has ended. I have some hope of more work at the same place--they like me and I them, and there might be something in math or science. If not, well, it's 24 February, not bad for something that was supposed to be 3-5 weeks and started on 5 January.
