I was looking at a friend's "friends" page, and came across someone who asked "Why don't you try being vegan for one whole week? Just try it for the experience?"
And I took a deep breath, and didn't post a reply. And decided not to look at any more friend-of-friend journals right now.
I could give reasons. But that's not the point. I have no reason to make that major a lifestyle change*, and I don't need to explain myself to a proselytizing stranger, who probably wouldn't take kindly to being told to try eating meat for a week.
* Being queer isn't a lifestyle. Being poly isn't a lifestyle. What I eat every day, that's a lifestyle.
