I'm a bit better physically than a couple of days ago. I walked to the bank at lunchtime and didn't feel a need to stop and catch my breath; yesterday I had to stop more than once on a shorter, very low-energy, low-speed stroll.

annafdd: we chatted about this and that, cons and food and such. I assured her that, no, what I'd been brought under the name of "tartuffo" isn't what New Yorkers understand by that term (or what the menu described); that said, it was a tasty ice cream dessert, with lots of whipped cream. That after a large, complex salad, just what I needed, both for the veggies and because I had sat down quite hungry.
