Rubber stamps

Following elisem's lead, I have gone through my rubber stamp collection, and sorted into a small pile of "keep, I may use these again someday" and a larger pile of "see what I can get on eBay".

Before I do that, however, two of these may have specific people's names on them; if I'm correct, I'd like to give them to you, in the knowledge that they'll have found good homes with my friends.

• baldanders, how about three elephants walking in a row? If you want to compare with what you and roadnotes already have, it's about two inches long, the image on the top is in dark purple, and the label says "414E Elephant Border."

I have one rubber stamp, it was given me by E from Seattle, (who you might remember at the wedding,) and says "stet". It's very useful when I'm going through a copyedit, but I really can't think of anything I'd do with a leaf one. Zorinth might want it though, I'll ask him tonight.

No playing cards, rabbits in (or out) of hats, top hats, magic wands or similar? :-)

How about a rocket ship, propellar beanie or bowtie?

I don't think I have any of those, though there are some dinosaurs.

Basically, I'm going to start taking pictures and posting to eBay, for sale. (I think it's against the terms of service to actually sell things through LJ, though I can say "Hi, I'm selling rubber stamps on eBay, here's a link.")

Well, don't tell the people in thriftstoreuk that then, they've been selling stuff on ebay for ages (I know, I've bought several things from people on there!)

XVI. 16 of the TOS says that I can't engage in commercial activity here "without prior approval." It's entirely possible that that community has such approval; alternatively, they may think it's worth the risk.

As it happens, I value LJ considerably higher than the chance to make a few extra bucks on eBay, so I don't want to push things.
