Another New York question: opticians

Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive optician in New York City (or nearby Westchester or New Jersey)? I'm thinking seriously of reusing an older pair of frames, so discounts on frames+lenses aren't especially relevant (I have a coupon from Lenscrafters if I want to go that route).

Is it only opticianry you care about? Because I've been to the Lenscrafters on 20th and 5th, and the optometrist there, Dr. Zupa (it's been a while, I think that's her name) is very nice. If you don't need an exam and are just getting glasses, I'm afraid I can't help you beyond that.

Yes, just opticianry. I have an ophthalmologist I'm happy with, Dr. Gerard Schiller, and he recently wrote me an eyeglass prescription that I now want to fill.
