I hadn't even realized that it had been almost a month since I updated my weblog. Despite this, I'm toying with switching to Movable Type, but I'm worried not only about whatever effort would be involved, but about the comment spam that's afflicting people I know.

Jay Allen's MT-Blacklist plugin is now pretty stable and effective. So far.

btw, the measures i was talking about here (http://www.gooroos.ca/piranha/archives/000937.html) worked; i haven't seen any comment spam since. and it was a cinch to implement.
