I still have this stupid cough--though it's not as chest-wracking as it was a few days ago--and I'm feeling impatient. Yes, the "call if it I'm not better by" date is Thursday morning, because I finish the antibiotics Wednesday night. But I should be able to walk down to the inlet and around the soccer field without wearing myself out.
I'm trying to be good--which mostly means cautious, and from the outside looks a lot like laziness--because I hope to need all my energy Monday or Tuesday to impress the potential proofreading employer and do a good job on a proofreading test. But I want to go to the gym, and the Greenmarket, and otherwise out and about.
