We had a good long Zoom chat with my mother this afternoon, after some difficulty getting the meeting started. Free accounts, so half an hour of conversation, then a short break, then another 25 minutes. We could have had another five minutes, but my chest was starting to hurt from a lot of coughing and a lot of talking.

The coughing is annoying, but it's what's supposed to be happening right now. The flutter valve and/or the Mucinex are doing their job, but there are dry coughs interspersed with the productive ones, and it's tiring.

I haven't felt as steady during my balance PT as I was yesterday, so have been careful. Successfully so: I didn't fall, and I didn't need to support myself with the edge of the sink to avoid falling.

Zoom chats are a nice option when we live so far away. I keep intending to do that with Falcon.

I've had a Zoom chat with my Dad (and whichever of the rest of the family chooses to join) every week since I last visited in Sept 2022 (he lives in Chicago and I was at WorldCon). He greatly appreciates the 40 minute limit.

I'm glad all your hard work and care looks like it results in steadily improving health!
