I don't think I've ever seen a barberry in the wild, but the Persian grocery near my new dentist has so, SO, many barberries. Frozen barberries. Frozen meat pies with barberries. Many kinds of barberry preserves. Barberry fruit leather. Dried barberries. Barberry juice. Barberry molasses. (This is New England, so I would not have been surprised to see Cran-Barberry Juice Cocktail. But it didn't jump out at me.)
