Last week was busy, but one effect of that was that I hadn't been doing my PT-related exercises. So, I did a lot of those exercises on the weekend, and some more today (Tuesday). Yesterday I spent the afternoon with [personal profile] adrian_turtle, and walked more than I had in a couple of weeks.

I'm not doing any sort of formal PT these days, but most of my exercise other than walking is things I learned from one or another physical therapist. I have a chart (stored in Excel) to track what I've done, with certain things flagged as priority. Ideally, I would do those two or three times a week, and everything else at least once a week. The chart helps me keep track, both so I don't accidentally skip things, and also so I don't do the same exercise multiple days in a row. The exception there is that if, rarely, I have the energy, it's OK to do crunches two or more days in a row. Beyond that, the highest priority is a thing I do to practice/improve my balance, which I try to do three times a week, and usually manage at least twice if I'm not sick.
