Finished in the last few weeks:
How the Light Gets In and The Long Way Home, mystery novels by Louise Penny
The Feather Thief, nonfiction about purely artistic hobby fly-tying, obsession, and the theft of endangered birds from a natural history museum. It's also part memoir: the author heard about the theft at a time when he was at loose ends and discouraged about the work. I don't remember who recommended this to me, but I enjoyed it.
Currently reading:
The Nature of the Beast, by Louise Penny, 11th in her series of mystery novels about Inspector Gamache. There are I think 22 of these so far, and I will probably read them all.
