If I recall correctly, you're about my age, in which case you might want to ask about the pneumonia vaccine--though my doctor said that if I'd been otherwise in good health they would have waited until I was sixty. I got the hepatitis B vaccine at the request of one of my partners, for their own protection. That was specifically because multiple sexual partners is a risk factor there (and I had to argue with my then-doctor, because I didn't live or work with small children and I think she couldn't quite keep it in her head that white, middle-class, middle-aged me had that as a risk factor. I had to press her for an HIV test, too, even though she was practicing in the Bronx; I am a lot happier with my doctor here in Somerville, who treats me with respect for my good judgment, but doesn't even subconsciously assume that race or class are risk factors for, or protective against, infection. (There are genetic risk factors that do overlap with racial classifications--in my case, that includes a higher risk for breast cancer.)
