Indecision

I'm trying to decide between a possibly-useful meeting at the Editorial Freelancers' Association, and the monthly NYC rassef social. I have no idea of who will turn up at either, but I'm the person who organized (to the extent that there is anything organized) the rassef thing, and sitting in a garden drinking cider or ginger ale seems more tempting than bemoaning the state of the economy and getting tips for keeping freelance employers (who I don't have) sending work over the summer.

Fortunately, the decision can be made at the last minute; no RSVP is required, or even possible, for either event.

My instinct would be to attend the rassef gathering as I prefer social to business. I also wouldn't want anybody to feel they've been snubbed by not attending something I (nominally) organised.
