I often walk through Penn Station on my way to the A train. This afternoon, I did the walk downstairs (LIRR concourse), because I'd noticed a store on that level had flannel pajamas. As I came off the escalator, I heard two or three people shouting "Free cookies!" I went over, saw the tray of cookies, and said "If you're serious, thank you." They were, I took a chocolate chip cookie and wished them happy holidays.

I think the cookie was home-baked.
