I called early this morning, and the physical therapist's office said that they hadn't gotten my new insurance referral, but I should come in anyway. Larry (the main PT) feels strongly about treating people who need treatment, and doesn't much care for insurance companies and their policies. (In this case, though, I suspect the problem is at my GP's office. I need to call them again.)

He said my muscles were a bit tighter today; I may have either overused my arm this weekend, or just be dealing with insufficient exercise and the discomfort of long bus trips.

We skipped the resistance exercise, because I didn't want Larry (or anyone) touching my right index finger while I've got a nail that is attached by one edge, and pasted down by a bandage until it comes loose on its own rather than being torn off. The bandage is also to protect the finger underneath, and I'll be bandaging it after the fingernail comes off, as well. (With cloth--Larry confirmed [livejournal.com profile] papersky's advice to use cloth instead of plastic.)

I have an appointment for next Wednesday: I asked about moving back to Saturdays, but Apu, who had been doing Saturdays, won't be anymore, and the new physical therapist he's hired for Saturdays isn't starting for a couple of weeks.
