I think my analogies work

I seem to be giving people advice today, most of it at least somewhat analogical. The first was in a friends-locked discussion (and thus I am not identifying it further), in which I recast the situation the person was asking about as a relationship breakup; the person in question said zie found my comments helpful.

Just now, I ran with another friend's analogy, and said that it was entirely sensible for her to keep the haunch of antelope to herself for now.
