I had another delightful weekend visiting ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
adrian_turtle. Insufficiently restful, alas: for no reason I can identify, having slept very well Friday night, and quite well Saturday when we finally got to bed, I tossed and turned much of last night. I actually napped this afternoon, after getting home in the rain and taking a quick bath to warm up.
Adrian is delightful and snuggly company, maybe even more so than I already noted (getting to know people better improves the relationship, if they're the right people for me). As a bonus, she not only can cook, she is happy to have me cook in her kitchen: I made blueberry pancakes for lunch yesterday, and she roasted a duck for dinner last night, which I carved (including carving the rest of the duck for her lunch over the next few days), and baked mushrooms in some of the duck fat.
