My mother is here for a couple of days, and she made a mistake that led to me spending far too long standing basically in one place, at the exit from International Arrivals at Logan: she mis-remembered what color suitcase she'd brought with her, so spent a lot of time waiting for a suitcase that wasn't on the conveyor belt.
It didn't help that her US cell phone wasn't connecting to the network, so I got no answer to my message that I was at International Arrivals.
Once she and I rendezvous'd and got (back) to Brighton, things went pretty well: I texted
cattitude and
adrian_turtle to have them make an overdue cup of tea that would be ready when we got here, and felt somewhat better after drinking the tea and having a little chocolate.
Also, next time we do this, if she's coming from London, I will aim to be at the airport half an hour after the arrival time, to allow for customs/immigration.
