(no subject)

rysmiel and I had brunch with Gretchen at a cafe in her neigbhorhood. I had a good crepe, and it was good to talk to Gretchen in person rather than just on discord.

Ubfortunately, rysmiel was wrong about the location of the cafe, and not only was the several blocks of unnecessary walking before lunch annoying, but it was the difference beteen being somewhat worn out before getting home, and the walking and stairs on the way home being painful. Forutnately, I don't have to go further than the kitchen for thhe rest of the day, but this means I will need to think carefully about what can do tomorrow and Monday.

Things like this are at least part of why it can look like I'm quick to turn down what look like reasonable suggestions about activities: the margins can be slim even without this sort of mistake.
