I thought I was getting the same haircut as last time, and have gradually realized the stylist removed a lot more hair than I meant her to, because either she misunderstood me, or I misunderstood her question.
So, it's buzzed very short all around except the top of the head; what I had last time was buzzed on both sides, and then the nape of the neck shaved.
I will see what I think of this as it grows in, and whether to have the same person cut my hair next time; go back to Taylor (more expensive), or cancel the next appointment altogether, get
cattitude to buzz the parts I want buzzed, and maybe get a haircut sometime later, after there's enough hair that I want the ends straightened.
The back of my head doesn't feel weird when I lie down, the way it did for a couple of days after the last few cuts, because there was a sharp gap between somewhat thick hair, and the shaved bit. That's an advantage, although I did like how the other style looked.
