mammogram

I just had a screening mammogram, after postponing it because of Covid. The actual mammogram was more annoying than usual because it didn't occur to me to mention that the right shoulder might need extra care until after it had been strained by the position the tech moved me into for the first image. She did ask if I'd had the Covid vaccine, and when I said yes, she asked which arm. (I specified that it was the Moderna vaccine.)

Before that, I spent several minutes waiting in the lobby at the hospital entrance, which the receptionist tried to get the breast center to answer the phone, and decide whether to let me in even though I reported a slight dry/scratchy cough this morning when she asked about Covid symptoms. Failing to get through, she decided it would be okay if I double masked, handed me a yellow medical mask to go on top of the blue one I was already wearing, and didn't give me a "screened" sticker for my coat.
