I just got an emailed letter from Senator Warren, which starts "Thank you for contacting me regarding federal funding for scientific research," then goes into details about her support for research funding.
All well and good, and it is something I care about, but I don't remember contacting her (or any of my representatives) about that, and my spreadsheet doesn't show it. So I'm wondering what phone call or email someone mis-classified, leading to me getting this letter.
ETA: A few minutes later I had an email from Senator Markey about an anti-abortion bill that I contacted both senators about; the timing would make sense for the email from Warren's office also being prompted by that (maybe abortion rights --> health care --> science, or something simpler like those being coded as topics 12 and 13 in their system.
