I got email this morning from the Massachusetts Agricultural Extension, pointing out that this is a good time of year to be getting my soil tested. They are particularly recommending a sorbed metal test. This is true, and would even be relevant if I was planting vegetables, but unfortunately I no longer have a garden whose soil might be worth testing.
I did go over to my previous apartment last week, and picked some cherry tomatoes from the front garden, in between running other errands.
