I am having a fine quiet time in Montreal so far, despite an annoying trip to get here. The traffic jam at the border isn't the bus company's fault, but the bus spending three quarters of an hour wandering the back streets of Montreal was. (The driver actually asked if anyone on the bus was from Montreal and could tell him how to get to Rue Berri from where we were, but nobody could, and eventually his dispatcher explained how to retrace his route and get us to the bus terminal.)
It's raining and the temperature is 20 (69F) going up to 23, and oh is that nice coming from another heatwave in the Boston area. I had smoked meat poutine for lunch, and then we walked to Suite 88 where I had five spice gelato.
ETA: And then we went out for dinner, and it rained hard while we were walking; I hope my shoes are dry by tomorrow.
