Let's give this a try. The meme asks:

What are you reading now? What did you just finish reading? What do you expect to read next?

In my case, this is a little tricky because I'm often reading two or more things, but:

Current: Infidel, by Kameron Hurley.
Recently finished: Three for the Chair, by Rex Stout.
Next, I have no idea, because I have a couple of things I feel though I should read, including a career advice book I borrowed from the library and have now renewed without actually starting. On my bedside table a novel that I read the first chapter of and then put aside because the beginning felt too similar to another book I started at about the same time in ebook form; and various free stuff I have downloaded to my kindle.

I'm enjoying the Hurley, but it's rather dark; it's also the second of a trilogy, and I would strongly recommend starting at the beginning, with God's War. The Stout is a collection of three of his Nero Wolfe novellas; I grabbed it semi-randomly at the library because the first didn't push my "wait, I've read this" button (which is a disadvantage in rereading mysteries). Fun, in a light sort of way, and the past is definitely a different country, and not just in the obvious relevant-to-mystery-fiction ways of changes in communications and transportation.

I am only counting books for this purpose. My other recent reading includes short fanfiction at Archive of Our Own, articles in Science magazine, various news stories online, and blog posts.

The meme is at shouldbereading.wordpress.com and I found it via [personal profile] wild_irises and [personal profile] replyhazy. I haven't done book/review posts in a while; maybe this will work.
