Travel takes a certain amount of energy, of course, but I've been finding it easier to relax here than at home. It isn't that there's nothing to do: it's that there aren't tasks lying around that are queued for me to do when I get the chance. Any bills I need to pay are stacked on my desk in New York, not a desk here in Montreal.
papersky is keeping her shopping list, and mine is irrelevant for another few hours.
So, dim sum, museum, games of Flux and Tsuro and Apples to Apples, and lots of conversation and good food and tea. In a few hours, I will head back to New York, work, and all; both real life, but different shapes of it. It's warmer there, though.
