The only people I saw this weekend other than
cattitude were some vendors at the Greenmarket yesterday, and a neighbor or two with whom I exchanged half sentences in passing. I'd have liked to see
elisem, but I badly needed to take a few hours to be entirely alone, and the logistics worked out that this afternoon was the only time I could do it.
If I had gone out to Brooklyn to see Elise and whoever else was there, I think I would have enjoyed it, but it would have made the next couple of weeks rather stretched, in ways I'd rather not deal with. Sometimes it seems like there aren't many balls in the air, until I try to figure out how to catch one.
