redbird: me with purple hair (purple)

First, the cool stuff: the apple tree is in bloom, there are plenty of periwinkles, and still a bit of crocus. The usual one early azalearhododendron, bright magenta, in Inwood Hill Park, and several violets along the Broadway edge of Isham Park.

OK, some of the work is moderately cool. I've finished off the cold read on that math book, and it will be a good book (for which Marta gets more credit than I do, but I spotted some things other people had missed. As she pointed out, there was enough that needed fixing earlier that it was hard for anyone to find all of it). Having done that, I'm back to editing my eighth-grade science book; another huge book for Louisiana.

After work, I went to the gym, and did a moderately thorough workout. numbers, cut as usual )

I have just voted in TAFF. Yes, this constitutes procrastination; the deadline is 18 April.

TAFF exists to support connections between European (largely UK) and North American fandom; it does this in large part by helping pay for fans to travel, and has been doing so since 1953.

I am supporting Tom Womack, but am happy to note that we have two fine candidates this year.

(If you've been in fandom long enough to be eligible to vote, but aren't sure the administrators know you, and you and I are friends, feel free to use me as a reference; I've known Bug since at least 1995. If you think this is a good idea but don't think you're eligible, donations are always welcome; sterling by preference if you're using paypal, but the US administrator will happily take checks in dollars, and if you're not voting the deadline is irrelevant.)
