My new mittens arrived today.
They're sheepskin, and very snug. Either they are very slightly mismatched, or my right hand is slightly larger than my left. (I have no a priori reason to reject that hypothesis.)
They were mail ordered because if you realize in January that you need mittens, you're unlikely to find much in local stores. I googled, found a few things, and picked these. I am hoping they will be good for days when my gloves aren't sufficient. I expect to take them to Montreal when I visit in the winter, but they probably won't replace the fleece gloves in my coat pocket day to day.
