redbird: closeup of me drinking tea, in a friend's kitchen (Default)

Not literally, but I've been balancing the desire for my abdomen not to hurt where it's still healing against the desire to be awake and focused. Taking half a percocet before leaving the house this morning (and another half-pill each around noon and 4:00) helped with the first, but I was feeling a bit of mental fog. I'm not sure why I didn't try extra caffeine to counter it, having thought about same, unless the mental fog got in the way.

I have just booked airline tickets for a trip to Montreal this summer; the process was annoying and repetitive even with a relatively clear head. Now I am going to take another painkiller, pack for Boston, and then go to bed. (No, I don't spend all my time on the road; it just happens that schedules came together for the Montreal trip this afternoon.)
