Earlier this evening, I decided I wanted a morir soñando. At the moment, we don't have orange juice, only orange-tangerine, but I figured it was worth a try. So I did a straight substitution--the juice I had, vanilla, cinnamon, and milk (some people add sugar, but I don't). It works. I don't think it's an improvement on the standard recipe, but neither is it a disappointment.
[Since I got a query: about half milk and half orange juice, cinnamon and vanilla extract, stir, drink. Some people/places add sugar, but it's really quite sweet enough already. My initial exposure to this was just the milk and orange juice, without the spices, and that's good too, though not as.]
