redbird: closeup of me drinking tea, in a friend's kitchen (Default)

The post below is about a problem that is now fixed, thanks to the commenters. I'm leaving it up for future reference.

I know I'm on your friends list, because I see friends-only postings. Every time I try to comment on one, LJ tells me "Error. You must be logged in to view this protected posting."

This has been going on for months, and I'd not mentioned in until now. I suspect this is something you'd need to talk to LJ support in order to get fixed (i.e., that I can't usefully report, though feel free to include "[livejournal.com profile] redbird has been getting this for a while, she says it's not the one entry but everything of mine she wants to comment on" if you do put in a Support request).

The specific comment in this case was: "I assume RE is mandatory, then. I would guess that RE in most places, even run through churches that expect their members to be theists, gets a few children who are atheist but whose parents push them, but those classes probably wouldn't take such a survey, and almost certainly wouldn't get that set of results."

In the course of a discussion on alt.polyamory, it occurred to me that if we actually went through those boxes we packed in New Haven and got rid of the stuff in them we don't need, which is probably most of us, there might be room to store more books in ways that made them accessible.

Failing that, we'd have more floor space, but that incentive has never seemed sufficient.
