The fire alarm tests are enough to make me miss school. In school, they combined the alarm tests with the fire drills: they didn't expect you to stay and your desk and work.
It didn't help any that I was on another floor when they made the PA announcement about testing the alarm system, and that the email about it arrived after the test, or at least that round of it, had finished.
