I've been feeling a bit out of sorts, physically--quite short of breath last night, and still a little today. But I took my lunch outside--it was an absolutely perfect day, sunny and warm and a light breeze--and ate my sandwich and fruit and read until the landscaping crew came along with electric lawnmowers. The company grounds are intended more to look good than to be enjoyed by employees, so while there are benches and such, there's probably close to a 50% chance of being interrupted by noisy hardware any random lunch hour.

After work, I stopped down in the Village: Village Apothecary for toothpaste (for some reason it seems to be the only place in the entire area that carries Tom's of Maine cinnamint toothpaste, though plenty of shops have [some of] their other flavors), and Aphrodisia for rosemary, tarragon, and (because why not) dried orange peel. Tarragon is pricey by the ounce, but weighs very little: $3.35/oz for the tarragon, 65¢/oz. for the rosemary, 80¢/oz. for the orange peel, and a grand total of $1.36 cents for what seemed like enough of each to last a while.

By the time I got up to Inwood, it was twilight, a very pleasant cool evening.
