I lucked into the right side street when wandering around Port Washington on my lunch hour today: it led to a playing field, not in use, which in turn led to a nice mix of meadow and path-through-woods, greenery and a bright blue sky and nobody else larger but birds and butterflies. Lots of monarchs. Had there been edible berries, it would have been absolutely perfect.

Call it about two miles, total, but much of that was on (quiet, suburban) sidewalks) rather than grass and dirt.

After work, I stopped at the gym and did the absolute minimal workout: 6 or so minutes of warmup, the XpressLine, and straight to the shower. The cheerful trainer looked at my card and started adding five or ten pounds to (I think) all the machines, because he saw that I was doing 12 reps on each. At the new weights, I still did 12, except 8 on the biceps (surprise). I'll dig the numbers out later, but in the meantime, 325 on the leg press and 110 on the leg curl.
