Finally! I'm over the pneumonia, and I went to the gym today. The only problem was that I forgot to bring a water bottle, which cut cardio short. And I'm feeling bright and accomplished, so all the numbers are out here in plain sight:
Cardio, 11 minutes, top heart rate 150 (basically a warm-up).
Assisted chin-up, set assist at 20 (maximum): 10
Calf machine, 35 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Bench press, 50 pounds, 2 sets of 10
Seated leg curl, 80 pounds, 2 sets of 15; 75 pounds, 15
Triceps pulldown, 40 pounds, 15, 15, 8
Lat pulldown, 60 pounds, 2 sets of 13
Bicep curl, 35-pound bar, 2 sets of 15; 30-pound bar, 15. "Yes, 35 pounds is optimistic*—but optimism is what we do here."
Lateral raise, 5 pounds each hand, 2 sets of 15. The first set felt easy, the second I almost didn't get through.
Crunches, 4 sets of 20
Back arch, 16, 16, 16, 20 (because I lost track of what I was counting)
Yoga "tree"
Leg press, 230 pounds, 2 sets of 12
Stretches
*I'd had it at 40 pounds, but that was before bronchitis and then pneumonia.
Addendum: My previous gym visit was on 16 October, so it's just less than three weeks between workouts. Not too horrible, considering.
