Every so often I hit a sentence in this job that makes no sense. cattitude suggested I preserve this one for history:

It is a precious treasure as well as rare opportunity in our professional life to work together with leaders of the industry and borrow marrows from master-hands for each of us.

The problem phrase is in red.

One down, now what?

The finished (FSVO "finished" consonant with my skills, the pay rate, and what I have to work with) project has been mailed off, marrowless and mostly in the past tense. Among other fine weirdnesses, it was entirely in the historical present, making it difficult to distinguish between continuing conditions of the universe and events that occurred in August 2001.

I have had a fine breakfast and lunch, and can now laze about and drink tea for a bit, then decide if I'm up for leaving the house even for a party.
