In the last few days, I've gotten several calls on the data line--which, in theory, should never ring--for Simon and Shuster. The latest came in as my mother and brother were ringing the doorbell. When I told the woman on the other end that this wasn't Simon and Shuster, it was my home phone, she explained that she'd gotten the number off the Web. So I got the URL from her, and this morning I have written to the person whose Web page it is, explaining that this isn't the S&S number, and asking her to change her Web page.

I did my usual workout this morning: 20-odd minutes of cardio, bench presses (3 sets of 12, this time), leg curls (wound up doing the first 15 at 50 pounds, then 15 at 60, and 15 at 55), adjustable row, triceps stuff, arches and crunches on the mat, and hip ab- and adduction (fewer on the abduction, because my hips hurt partway through the second set).
Then I went to the 12:30 yoga class. I walked in just a trifle late, but wasn't the last to arrive. Much stretching and balancing stuff. Difficult. Some I couldn't do at all. I got a cramp in my left calf fairly early, which I rubbed out but slowed me down thereafter. Next week, I think I'll do yoga on a different day from weight-lifting.
