I didn't get enough sleep last night, and have been feeling it most of the day.
Now, a tired proofreader is a slower proofreader. Hardly surprising.
Around 2:00, I went over to Jim, handed him the latest piece of the project, and asked what came next. The answer was that I'd have to wait while he printed it out, because he hadn't expected me to finish that piece today.
Either I'm a lot faster than they were expecting--which means this will be a shorter project, ergo less money--or he misjuidged the size of that sub-project.
