I called the unemployment office again this morning, and talked to someone who assured me that my claim is fine, despite the letter that arrived yesterday asking for more information (and asserting that I'd checked a box I hadn't checked): either the documents I faxed, or what they sent my ex-employer, did the job.

One less worry, while I look through the (thin) help-wanted listings.
